From Tambor airport, continue straight on to Cobano and from Cobano drive to Santa Teresa, finally take a right turn at the Playa Carmen crossroad and Cale Casitas is located at the main road, miles from the crossroad, 100 mts North Plaza Kahuna, next to Principe del Pacifico Hotel, right hand side. You take the Interamericana Highway and drive 2 hours northwest to the port town of Puntarenas. In Puntarenas take the ferry to Paquera which is located on the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula. The ferries leave Puntarenas every two hours during the high season and the ride across the Gulf of Nicoya is a scenic 1.5 hour trip

A little tip when you get to Puntarenas get in line for the ferry Paquera then get out of the car (leave someone behind) go find the place near the dock and purchase your tickets. Don’t wait in the line of cars for the ferry. This will get you on the ferry faster. If you decide to came by bus you have to take an orange Taxis at the international airport up to the Siete Diez bus Station (the taxi will cost you around $25 or less). To be sure you will have a seat you will have to be at the bus station around 13:15 pm also before you get inside the bus, only to be 100% you are in the correct bus, ask the driver if they are going to Santa Teresa (they also have a sign on the window of the bus that say: Cobano, Montezuma or Santa Teresa).

The price of the bus is around $17 and this bus will bring you directly to Santa Teresa. You have to get down in the last station, called ¨Plaza Kahuna ¨ and from there you need to walk 100 mts North from the main road and you will see our blue sign up. We are next to Principe del Pacifico hotel.
